Dr. Kristina M. Hugar: Chief Science Officer and Co-Founder
Dr. Hugar obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Cornell University in 2015. She has worked in the research and development of alkaline anion exchange membranes for six years. Dr. Hugar has authored three peer-reviewed publications, which are specifically related to the core technology of the company. Additionally, she is an inventor on a polymer membrane for fuel cell patent. Dr. Hugar was awarded the McKelvey Foundation Gold scholarship for entrepreneurial aptitude. Dr. Hugar has been an instrumental part in securing partnerships with systems integrators. She has been named by Echoing Green a Climate Fellow ‘18 for the work done to mitigate climate change.
